To offer you tailored support, our ENGMAR teams now provide two new annual maintenance contract options for planned maintenance that complies with current regulations. No need to worry about the maintenance of your LEV system, our teams take care of everything!
Why Subscribe to One of Our Maintenance Contract Plans for Your LEV System?
Purchasing a high-vacuum central extraction system comes with legal obligations. According to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 (Ireland: Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Chemical Agents) Regulations 2001 to 2021), annual periodic inspections and flow rate measurements are mandatory. These checks ensure that your welders and workshop operators are protected from welding fumes, which are harmful to the respiratory system. Regular maintenance of your equipment also allows for preventive action, replacing "minor" parts before they cause a major breakdown (which is much more costly), thereby reducing your repair and maintenance costs.
Our plans are designed to simplify the management of these legal checks, reduce your intervention costs, and provide regular and detailed monitoring of your equipment's operational status to ensure its longevity.
Additionally, subscribing to one of our maintenance contracts helps reduce downtime and minimize the impact on your productivity.
What Are the Subscription Terms for ENGMAR Maintenance Contracts?
When purchasing an ENGMAR high-vacuum central extraction system, you are offered the option to subscribe to one of our two maintenance plans. It is entirely up to you whether to subscribe at that time. You can also choose to subscribe to one of our maintenance contracts at a later date. However, regular measurements and maintenance from the initial commissioning help ensure the longevity of the equipment.
If you subscribe to one of our plans at the time of purchase, the contract will take effect after the one-year legal conformity warranty period. During the installation and initial commissioning of your equipment, our ENGMAR teams will perform an aerodynamic measurement survey. The recorded values will then serve as a reference for each subsequent control intervention by our technicians. Indeed, during the aerodynamic measurement surveys, the actual values of the equipment will be compared to the reference values to ensure the compliance of the high-vacuum networks.
What Are the Two Maintenance Contract Plans Offered by ENGMAR and What Types of Interventions Do They Include?
To comply with current regulations, we offer two maintenance contract plans. These include the mandatory periodic inspection of ventilation systems as well as various intervention options by our maintenance teams. Our contracts are established for a three-year period. Each year, when our teams intervene, the follow-up file for your equipment will be updated.
Discover the Services Included in Our Plans:
Plan 1: "Essential" Maintenance Contract
Our "Essential" maintenance contract for LEV systems includes:
- Annual inspection of the installation (mandatory and regulatory periodic inspection),
- Updating the installation file with measurement records,
- Inspection of the condition of cartridges and the filtration unit,
- Checking and replacing, if necessary, the dust bucket bag and the door seals of the filtration unit and bucket,
- Recording the filter clogging value,
- Checking the operation of the cleaning system and compressed air,
- Checking the suction speed of the torches at maximum simultaneity and the network pressure with visual inspection,
- Emptying the bucket and replacing the bag,
- Checking the network safety elements: vacuum breaker valve, PAHD, emergency stop, etc.,
- Replacing and supplying cabinet filters,
- Checking the turbine box and the regulation cabinet fans.
All these elements will be checked annually by our teams over a period of 3 years. Our teams will provide you with a report after each intervention, which you should keep as it will constitute the history of your installation.
Plan 2: "Premium" Maintenance Contract
Our "Premium" maintenance contract includes all the services of the "Essential" maintenance contract plus the following interventions:
- Replacing and supplying:
- A filter cartridge kit,
- A solenoid valve kit,
- A vacuum breaker valve,
- Overhauling the turbine motor (motor bearings).
These interventions are included once in the three-year contract (usually in the third year of the contract, but adaptable according to your activity). Any additional replacement or overhaul of the filter cartridge kit, solenoid valve kit, vacuum breaker valve, and turbine motor bearings will be charged outside the conditions provided in the Premium contract.
An intervention report will also be provided and updated after each intervention by our teams.
As a reminder, any customer already equipped with an LEV system can subscribe to one of our maintenance contracts: our teams adapt to your needs and activities.
